Our fees are as follows:

For local research (Bega Valley ONLY), an initial Search Fee per surname of $25.00 for the first hour or part thereof, to be paid before a search begins. Thereafter, a charge of $20.00 per hour or part thereof will apply on the initial fee per surname, plus copying and postage fees added.

​No additional costs will be incurred without your consent.

​The Initial Search Fee per Surname is to be paid either by cheque payable to Bega Valley
Genealogy Society Inc or by Direct Deposit to the Society’s bank account:

​Research is done by our Volunteer Researchers. They will research local records held by the Society. However, at times, our subscription services and other resources might be referenced and/or listed for you to follow through with. Fees are payable regardless of the search achieving a positive or negative result.
